Our Story
When two long-time colleagues and serial entrepreneurs met for coffee in Silicon Valley, it was to talk about new ways of securing connected devices at scale without excessive cost.
Back in Minneapolis, the future CEO of Isolated Networks met initially with industrial and medical companies to understand their challenges. He and his team would ultimately develop a breakthrough architecture that virtualized secure IoT/OT networks away from corporate networks and the public Internet, stopping ransomware in its tracks. These isolated networks, invisible to attackers, were highly scalable and secured devices inside the "walls" of an organization as well as remotely or in the field.

Finally, the innovation connected devices intended to bring to organizations could be securely unleashed.
Our founders have 30+ years experience in telecommunications, computer networking, wireless technologies, big data, cybersecurity and cloud computing. They were around before the Internet was built, and they watched it start to crack under the weight of billion of connected devices.
​They soon assembled a team to realize their vision of a new secure-networking architecture that was cost effective and easy to use. Having led everything from large corporate business units to start-ups, and with several patents under the belt, they quickly convinced partners and investors with deep technology roots to join them in their quest.
